National Bureau dedicated to protecting Canadian Consumers
The Canadian Consumer Verification & Safety Bureau (CCVSB) is a national, independent bureau committed to elevating consumer safety, transparency, and trust across Canada.
We focused on safeguarding the public by delivering unbiased business verification, safety and compliance assessments, contractor legitimacy checks, dispute guidance, and fraud-prevention education.
Every year, Canadians lose millions to unverified businesses, misleading practices, and avoidable risks.
CCVSB exists to change that.
We bring clarity where there is confusion, evidence where there is uncertainty, and protection where there is vulnerability.
Our bureau empowers everyday Canadians with the confidence to move forward knowing the businesses they hire or purchase from have been thoroughly and transparently assessed.

Purpose & Mandate
The purpose and mandate of the Canadian Consumer Verification & Safety Bureau (CCVSB) is to protect Canadians by providing independent, objective, and reliable verification of businesses, service providers, and contractors operating across Canada.
CCVSB exists to support informed decision-making by delivering clarity, confidence, and certainty to consumers before financial commitments are made.

✓ Promote safety, accountability, and compliance
✓ Help protect Canadians’ financial interests
Through transparency and due diligence, CCVSB helps ensure that consumers are equipped with the information they need to make safe, informed, and confident decisions.
